Tatertots, Jello, and Cookies!

Last week I was privileged enough to attend a blogger's cookie exchange at Jen's house, author of Tater Tots and Jello. I figured cookies...I like to bake...for sure no one else will have gluten free cookies there...and what a great way to meet other bloggers! First of all, I brought some Cowgirl Cookies made with Grandpa's Kitchen flour and Whoopie Pies, made with millet flour. Here are all the other cookies that I didn't taste but looked delish:Actually I did taste those peppermint meringues and they were divine. I need to recipe stalk that person in the near future.
I got to meet Jen, who is lovely and talented and does all her cute crafting in this room:What? Doesn't everyone snoop around other people's houses to see how they really live? In my defense, it was right next to the kitchen. Um, I'm the short one in the photo, in case you're wondering. I forget to remind myself to wear my highest heels when I go out in public.

I also got to meet Lara, from Less Cake, More Frosting, and Leanne from Organize and Decorate Everything. I left right as Shelley from House of Smith's got there, but then the next day I saw her at Jamba Juice, so it was like I got my own personal party with her. This was such a fun time, and I have to say I ponied up the dough and decided to attend Alt Design Summit in Salt Lake City in January just so I could get more great blogging ideas and yes, take an actual photography class! I know you all are sighing with relief at the thought of good pictures of this here food. I'm sure I'll also be blogging about all the food I won't be able to eat at the luncheons and dinners, ha ha.

Jen, this was so fun, and I hope we do it again soon!
Happy eating!
